It all started with a passion for Muay Thai, the national sport of Thailand, and referred to as the “art of the eight limbs” because of the focus on eight points of contact- fist, elbow, knee and leg strikes. The practice requires a competitive spirit fed through combat, but the beauty of the sport is that there is so much more. Muay Thai represents a challenge of physical and mental self-control, balance, a deep respect for tradition, and strong focus on training and technique. Part of the tradition in Muay Thai, is related to the apparel and gear that is used to train and fight. In search of the appropriate apparel and gear for training, we noticed a void in availability, particularly in the United States, Canada, and North America in general. After waiting up to 6 weeks for a pair of traditional Muay Thai shorts to arrive and paying a lot of money in shipping costs, we decided to do some research and we have not stopped since. US based Muay Thai Addict is a company that is passionate about all things having to do with Muay Thai. With ongoing developments in apparel and gear, we are up for the challenge with a mission to bring you the highest quality products. Currently, we are offering custom-made traditional Muay Thai shorts, high quality organic blend t-shirts, warm up hoodies and sweat pants, Flexfit hats, custom-manufactured mouth guards with cases, gloves, shin guards and traditional Prajioud arm bands. We also offer sizing to cater to women and youth. As we grow, we will be adding further products in different styles and colors.
